Yin Yang is an ancient Chinese symbol that represents the universe. The symbol is composed of an outer circle enclosing 2 teardrop-shaped halves wrapped around each other. The symbol shows opposite energetic forces, yet it is in total balance. Yin is passive, accepting, flexible, matter. Yang is energy, movement, warmth, spirit. The dark (Yin) and the light (Yang) need each other – like so many opposites in nature. The Yin Yang is the most prominent Taoist symbol, also often called the Taiji. Wear this symbol to create balance and be in tune with the Yin and Yang within.
