The Moon is in synchronous rotation with Earth and has a spiritual essence that draws us in. The Moon’s gravitational influence produces the ocean tides and the slight lengthening of the day. The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite that has been constantly revered by the ancestors who prayed to the Moon Goddess/Gods. The moon has a calming and introspective effect on people, yet a full moon or dark moon may create a lively mood. The moon represents love, magic, contemplation and serenity.
