Description
The Dragon
Dragons have different meanings to different cultures and individuals across the world. The dragon stands for great wisdom, immortality and strength to the Druids and Celts. It meant good fortune, joy, dancing benevolence and protection in China and other Asian countries. In medieval times they were associated with magic and alchemy. Church leaders associated dragons as something to be subdued, possibly to aid in Christian conversions as some pagans groups revered dragons. Though dragons are often thought of as mythical there are certainly creatures that are now extinct or close to extinction that they resemble. If you think of a Dragon you will certainly be able to conjure a picture in your mind. Let the Dragon watch over you in everyday life of magic!
