It’s a time honoured tradition to dance for Mother Earth in a show of respect for all she has given. There is nothing more natural than to feel the sand, earth, grass, or smooth rock platforms beneath your feet. As re-wilding emerges and meets with shamanic practices, we reconnect with our home and appreciate the wondrous energetic place we live in. Appreciating nature leads to its protection from profiteering. Get back to the nature on a daily basis. Wear your dance-bands at nature festivals or take a day trip to dance in your favourite natural settings. You can also create a daily ritual at home where you greet the morning or sunset and thank Gaia/Mother Earth. You can play gentle shamanic music, light incense/smudge stick and say words of appreciation or repeat a mantra while making gentle dance movements. Find out what works for you. Keep adding special things from nature to your dance-bands. The Earth is our home; it has fragile ecosystems that need to be understood, give thanks to Mother Earth.
