Indus Valley Civilisation – Ancient Sites, Teal/Orange
The Indus valley civilisations spans between 3000-1500BCE. 1500 cities flourished in this period with art, yoga, music, farming, urban planning and unique architectural designs. Cities were so advanced they had roads, drainage, grid systems planning, wells, public pools and most houses were double story mud brick. Ancient India worshiped the Mother Goddess and may have made offerings outdoors in nature settings, as no temples have been found. The modern people of India still make offerings and prayers to waterways. Archaeologists and historians are yet to decipher the ancient language/symbols of the era. The civilisation was egalitarian in nature and very little weaponry was found. The Indus Valley Civilisations is an period of enlightenment, peace and tranquillity.
