Though it is cold the winter goddess is warm with love, comfort and understanding. Draped in wool she sits by the hearth with her wondrous and resilient family. She is magician and matriarch governing hidden growth that will be revealed in spring. She holds the key to deep contemplation and walks in the light with the great mother goddess. The winter goddess holds her sceptre on high as the frost melts and new life begins.
