The even cross itself dates back to other ancient or primitive cultures – the two crossed lines can represent the four directions or the perfect balance. Since the time of Jesus the uneven or even cross represents the crucifixion of Jesus, who was said to die and rise again for humankind. The cross is a symbol of faith, love and dedication to Christians throughout the world.
