From yellow, orange to red, even the slightest breeze brings a cascade of colour as it signals the change in season. Autumn it a time to gather everything you need for winter; making the grain and vegetable harvest something long celebrated by the ancestors. Be your creative and introspective self in autumn.
The acorn is the fruit of the gods born from the oak, and a great nutritional source for many animals. It was thought that the druids ate them to put them in an altered state where they could gain inspiration and visions. The acorn is a symbol of fertility, manifestation and the continuing cycle of life. Acorns were considered magical protection; leaving them in windowsills was to protect from lightning strikes and using them as talismans either carved or painted was a powerful symbol. The Acorn represents power, magic, spiritual trance, fertility and connection to your higher purpose!
