Australian Animal Spirit – Kookaburra
The Kookaburra is a clever Australian bird with amazing vocal sounds and a solitary nature. Australia developed some highly unique creatures on the large isolated continent. The Laughing Kookaburra is instantly recognisable in both plumage and voice. They are found in habitats ranging from humid forest to arid savannahs, as well as in suburban areas with tall trees. Even though kookaburras belong to the King Fisher family, they are not closely associated with water. Laughing Kookaburras pair for life and nest is a bare chambers of trees. Both sexes share the incubation duties and both care for the young. Kookaburras live for 15 year.
